KDL Establishes Energy Management and Business Development System Cooperation with KBS

The synergy between Krakatau Steel Group companies was re-established this time between KDL and KBS. On Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the KBS Meeting Room, KDL's Managing Director, Gersang Tarigan and KBS's Managing Director, Alugoro Mulyowahyudi signed an MoU on the application of the Energy Management System at KBS using KDL as its partner. The implementation of the Energy Management System is carried out by KBS in the framework of the port transformation program owned by KBS into an environmentally friendly port in accordance with the Green Port Guideline.
The scope of the KDL's responsibility in this collaboration is the application of Energy Management Systems in the management of environmentally friendly ports, the use or utilization of Shore to Ship Connection facilities for electricity supply to ships that are anchored, the application of Renewable Energy as a source of electricity in the port environment using Solar Panels, and the use of land, docks, and tanks in the KDL region for the development of the KBS business.
Gersang Tarigan as the President Director of PT Krakatau Daya Listrik welcomes the synergy between the Krakatau Steel Group companies. He said that synergy can strengthen the progress of the company together and increase company productivity.
