KDL Establishes Operational Cooperation (KSO) with PT PLN (Persero)

In order to improve the quality of electricity supply reliability and synergy between BUMN companies, PT KDL has established a Cooperation Operation (KSO) scheme with PT PLN (Persero). With the implementation of the KSO, PT PLN (Persero) will maximize the power of 280 MVA to be distributed to the Business Area (Wilus) of PT KDL.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the PLN UID Banten office, Tangerang. The event was attended by officials within PT PLN (Persero), PT Krakatau Steel, and PT KDL in person or through the Zoom application.
President Director of PT KDL, Mr. Agus Nizar Vidiansyah and General Manager of PLN UID Banten, Mr. Paranai Suhasfan signed a KSO agreement which was witnessed by the Director of Commerce and Management of PT PLN (Persero), Mr. Bob Saril, and the Director of Business Development of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero), Tbk, Mr. Purwono Widodo.
In his remarks, Mr. Bob Saril welcomed this joint operation and it can be said that it is part of the BUMN synergy to be able to support each other's business processes. The same thing was also expressed by Mr. Purwono where this cooperation can improve efficiency both at PT Krakatau Steel (Persero), Tbk and PT KDL in the company's business processes so that it can increase competitiveness, especially the national steel industry.
