PT Krakatau Daya Listrik Successfully Receives ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certificate

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Krakatau Daya Listrik has won the SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certificate from PT Sucufindo International Certification Services with Number: SAB 00043 which is valid from 28 January 2021 to 27 January 2024.
PT Krakatau Daya Listrik became the first of the Krakatau Steel & Group subsidiaries to obtain or obtain the SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certificate (SMAP) after PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk as the parent company won the same certificate in August 2020 .
The ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System is a standard in anti-bribery management systems. This standardization aims to assist companies in determining, implementing and improving anti-corruption programs. The scope of ISO 37001: 2016 includes cases of corruption or bribery in the non-profit, private, or public sector.
The basis for the preparation of ISO 37001 is the ISO High-Level Structure (HLS). The step-by-step guide includes integrated company management processes and controls.
The benefit for organizations implementing SNI ISO 37001 is that this SNI is a minimum requirement and a supporting guide for implementing or benchmarking an anti-bribery management system. In addition, it provides assurance to management, investors, employees, customers and other stakeholders that an organization has taken reasonable steps to prevent bribery.
An anti-bribery management system is designed to instill an anti-bribery culture in an organization and implement appropriate controls, which in turn increase the chance to detect and reduce the incidence of bribery in the first place.
The implementation of the SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) is certainly in line at the same time strengthening the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and the Company's Core Values in terms of integrity at PT Krakatau Daya Listrik.

With the achievement of this SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System Certificate, it is hoped that it will increase stakeholder confidence in the systematic efforts of PT KDL in controlling and preventing bribery.
